20th March, 2008

What a difference a year makes. It only goes to remind one that even in the darkest days there is always hope. Last March I was telling you about how Hen had managed to miss her first GCSE exam having completely forgotten about it and swanned off to play polo somewhere. Just back from school for the Easter holiday, her last break before the full onslaught of GCSE’s, she and I were out for a ride last Sunday when she looked over at me with concern written all over her face and said that she was very worried about herself. “Do you know, Daddy? There’s got to be something wrong with me. I’m actually looking forward to getting home and on with my revision.” Hallelulia.
