It's been a long hard week. We had our usual 4.30pm meeting last night at which we went through our thoughts on the Deutsche Telecom numbers. Here's an admission. I don't know if it happens to you, but I find I can fall asleep whilst writing. It is often quite interesting, and frankly worrying, to review my scribbles. Here's one from yesterday. I found a note I had written at the end of a long discourse on cost cutting ..... "...retraining big numbers of people fitting into the handbag"??? A prize for anyone with a sensible suggestion as to where that came from.
