We were in Bristol Zoo last weekend. A really quite lovely place with lots of open spaces; clean. open and green. Having had a three hour carjourney down there to attend a wedding reception in a function room just alongside the Aquarium, I took my three elder children out for a wander round the zoo. Great excitement. "Look, there's a lion " said my eldest , "And there's a giraffe " said Jemima, "Oh, do you see the chimpanzees" both girls shouted as they ran around enthusiastically enjoying their release from the confines of the car. Their brother Bob, who you heard from the other day, is 4. His contribution?? " Wow, and there's a pigeon " !!
